Offering convenient online payment methods to customers has been a game-changer for businesses, and the dental industry is no exception. We’re excited to offer this new online payments feature to all Praktika customers, and can’t wait to hear how it’s helping you get paid faster, reduce admin burden and improve cash flow.
How do online payments work?
You can accept online payments straight from the invoices emailed from Praktika. And you can also email to patients the deposit payment requests. Simply set up online payment services, PayPal or Payrix. When you email an invoice to your patients, they can pay you instantly by clicking on ‘Pay Online’ button. Online payment services connected to Praktika have strong encryption and robust security protections.
How can I enable this feature in Praktika?
It takes 3 simple steps to enable this feature:
Step 1: Go to Management > Financial > Payment Service Providers to enable the payment provider that you must be registered with and save the Merchant ID so we can link up with them.
Step 2: Go to Management > Financial > Tax Invoice > Enable Online Payment For Tax Invoices.
Step 3: Go to Management > Financial > Deposits > Enable Online Payment For Deposit.
What do I do next?
You can email any outstanding invoices directly from the appointment screen. Go to Tax Invoice > Email PDF > select blank document or existing tax invoice template > E-mail.
Can I use online payments to collect deposits and prepayments?
Yes, you can accept a deposit or prepayment by sending a payment request by email.
- Go Patient File> Deposits> “+” E-mail Payment Request” > enter the required amount > Send.
- When a patient receives an email, they can pay by clicking on the online link.
- The payment will automatically appear as a patient deposit that can be used for the upcoming treatment.
