Praktika supports and partners with a number of businesses and organisations. Together we aim at providing a wider range of services for our clients as well as for a broader community.

Australian Dental Health Foundation
Formed in 2008 by the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Dental Health Foundation commenced with dentists across Australia coming together to improve the oral health of disadvantaged Australians. Dentists around the country have volunteered their time or made financial contributions to support needy Australians and to help provide resources where they are needed most.

In August 2017, the ADHF merged with the National Dental Foundation, which was established 13 years ago to provide a well organised and structured platform to enable those in the dental industry to step up and make a direct contribution to help disadvantaged members of our society. The merger will rationalise the provision of volunteer dental services in Australia and make their delivery more efficient.

The mission of the ADHF is to address the inequality between those Australians who can access the dental care they need, and those who can’t. We want better access to quality dental care for all Australians regardless of their financial, geographical or social situation. Access to quality dental care and the basics of oral hygiene is an important building block in the health of the nation. It’s our goal to ensure the continued improvement of oral health through the support of dentists, the dental profession, dental industry and the community. Our pledge is to carry on campaigning to spread awareness of the shortfalls in Australian dental health and generate funding for projects that target those shortfalls.

The ADHF is perfectly positioned to fund projects that will make a difference. Whether it’s supporting education and training for people in rural Australia, funding dental delivery programs or coordinating an army of volunteer dental professionals to provide pro bono care to the most disadvantaged in our society, we can achieve lasting change. These projects are made possible by the generous donations of money, equipment and time from our committed partners, the Corporate community and individuals around Australia.

AIDER - Australian Institute for Dental Education and Research
The Australian Institute of Dental Education has been founded in 2009 by a Swiss philantropic foundation the GMF (Global Microsurgery Foundation, Solothurn, Switzerland).

The goal is to provide clinical research and education in the field of implant dentistry in conjunction with national and international Universities and in collaboration with leading clinicians and dental technicians in the field. A strong collaboration with the dental industry enables the AIDER to undertake research and development in dental technology.

The AIDER hosts 6 surgeries, two surgical theatres, a cone beam scanner and a in-house dental laboratory with the latest CAD/CAM technology.

The lecture room with direct view in to the demonstration surgery allows interactive clinical training and lectures. A four camera set-up enables the transmission of the surgical field to the participants.

Swiss Dental Australia
Swiss Dental Australia is a full service laboratory based in Brisbane using exclusively CAD/CAM technology. Swiss Dental Australia is now in its fourth operational year. Swiss and Australian dental technicians and clinicians in the field of implant dentistry achieved to restore complex cases exclusively with CAD/CAM technology by using only bio-compatible materials such as pure grade 5 titanium, zirconia, IPS emax and PMMA.

Clinical research from The University of Gotheburg, Sweden, has proven that any metal alloy in direct contact with soft-tissue does show a significant amount of increased inflamation cells. CAD/CAM technology allows the production of 100% bio-compatible restorations with a predictable precision and esthetic outcome.

Our in-house milling centre allows us to serve the dental community with high quality cost-effective restorations delivered within a few days that makes the outsourcing to offshore unregulated markets not attractive anymore.
