It combines a few requests into a single interface which, we believe, will be welcomed by receptionists, doctors and practice managers.<\/div>\n<div>Its main objective is to provide a highly visual interactive interface to check and change today\u2019s patients arrival and response status.<\/div>\n<div>The Arrivals Panel is also accompanied by the new mouse right-click functionality on the appointment blocks to quickly change the arrival and response status.<\/div>\n<div>This is the first in the chain of changes concerning the appointment status handling in Praktika. It will be followed by the new treatment of appointment cancellations, the cancellation list, custom icons and statuses.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/9cade52a50c3147102d04789955c8fa07b21c93f\" alt=\"www.praktika.com.au\" width=\"554\" height=\"280\" border=\"0\"><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Arrivals Panel button<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Arrival Panels can be opened and closed by clicking the arrival panels button in the top left corner of the Appointment Book.<\/p>\n<div>It also has a visual indicator (blinking) of how many patients have arrived at the clinic and are waiting. Once a patient proceeds to a&nbsp;surgery and is marked as&nbsp;\u201cat the surgery\u201d the indicator reflects the change.<\/div>\n<div>There is a dedicated close button on the Panel\u2019s right side.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/c9da551d08bff9d39e32c4e6d7e47f24dbf4d337\" alt=\"www.praktika.com.au\" width=\"316\" height=\"270\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>The Anatomy of the Arrivals Info Block<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Panel displays individual patient arrival info blocks. They show:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Patient full name (incl. preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Patient telephone numbers<\/li>\n<li>Patient photo (if any) or gender placeholder<\/li>\n<li>Estimated Time of Arrival or Waiting Time (if patient has arrived)<\/li>\n<li>Late Time (if patient is late)<\/li>\n<li>Provider (name and colour)<\/li>\n<li>Appointment times<\/li>\n<li>Buttons to quickly change the status: FTA, Cancelled, Arrived, At Surgery, Left Practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>The colour of the block also shows the Appointment status:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>Red &#8211; cancelled appointment<\/li>\n<li>Black &#8211; FTA<\/li>\n<li>Green &#8211; completed appointment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/77dd2f7162322da1fde960447c6b02216d724f75\" alt=\"Featured\" width=\"316\" height=\"270\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operating the Panel<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Open the Panel and click the buttons that correspond to the change of the arrivals status.<\/div>\n<div>\u201c<b>Arrived<\/b>\u201d, &nbsp;\u201c<b>At Surgery<\/b>\u201d, \u201c<b>FTA<\/b>\u201d and \u201c<b>Cancelled<\/b>\u201d buttons are enabled for<b><i> incomplete <\/i><\/b>appointments only.<\/div>\n<div>\u201c<b>Left Practice<\/b>\u201d &#8211; available for the <b><i>completed<\/i><\/b> appointments only.<\/div>\n<div>If you need to undo the change, click again on the button you pressed.<\/div>\n<div>For \u201cFTA\u201d and \u201cCancelled\u201d &#8211; <b>double-click<\/b> to reset.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/53fe2d02a2ab7506aa8ed15cc02db47c231fe5b9\" alt=\"Featured\" width=\"316\" height=\"270\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Appointment Blocks Mouse Right-click Enabled<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We have enabled the mouse right-click functionality for the Appointment blocks to facilitate the management of the arrival and patient response status.<\/div>\n<div>There has also been a change in the logic of what responses are available at various stages of the appointment existence.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/d8d5a568d9dcee1322d004b64b0c737a2b487cdf\" alt=\"Featured\" width=\"316\" height=\"270\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Diagnodent Exam<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>An ability to record <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kavousa.com\/US\/DIAGNOdent\/Classic.aspx\">Diagnodent<\/a> exams has been added to Praktika.<\/p>\n<div>The entry data is colour coded both in the entry fields and in the oral cavity section. Switch between the fields by pressing the \u201cTAB\u201d button. The clinical notes interface is also added at the bottom of the screen. In the Stage 2 of the Diagnodent release there will be an interface to compare several exams.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/159c4d6f02b5a76b1646fb9579a2553ec7382728\" width=\"170\" height=\"154\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Importing Email (EML) Files<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Now you can import Emails into the Patient Communication file. For that save your email (including the attachments) as *.eml file and import it in the Communication section by choosing \u201cEmails\u201d as the document type in the Import Document interface. Double click on the email to display the content of the saved email:&nbsp;it should start your Mail application and show the email there.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/0d8ac67ff308a476b56c1adf56c79ec1efe183fe\" width=\"170\" height=\"154\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Recording Events<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We have added a facility to record external events in Praktika. This can be done within the Communication section or at the Recalls section. It is meant to record generic important events that are not directly managed by Praktika (like SMS, emails, documents, etc.). You can record posting things, delivery failures, couriering parcels, etc.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/76922c620ae466badd501a817da0a90aab1c213a\" width=\"170\" height=\"154\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Communication &#8211; File Preview<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A very useful feature that is finally here. Preview image files (png, jpg), text files, PDF files immediately in the Communication Table preview window. Just select a file in the table to preview.<b><br \/>\nIMPORTANT NOTE.<\/b> If the Preview Window is not properly aligned, it covers the buttons or is placed outside the screen, make sure that the zoom level of your browser is set to <b>100%<\/b>. &nbsp;(Ctrl + 0 or Command + 0 shortcuts usually do the trick). &nbsp;Pressing ESC key will close the screen if the buttons are covered.A very useful feature that is finally here. Just click on the note to bring up the Edit Note popup where you can modify and save the content of the note.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.praktika.com.au\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d19cgyi5s8w5eh.cloudfront.net\/img\/176c35b508ebb0a2a277a2f64782a63db59b4409\" width=\"170\" height=\"154\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Multiple Image Acquisition&nbsp;<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The scan interface now allows to save and upload several images at once.
