Praktika can now perform Sterilisation Tracking

Praktika now works with the Steri Tracking. You can record the data from your autoclave labels to a Patient’s appointment either manually or using a hand held scanner. The collected information is available at the Patient File (new bottom right button in the Patient Summary screen).

To scan in the barcode, click on the “Autoclave Tracking” button in the Patient’s appointment and scan the barcode with you scanner device. Alternatively key in the label code and press the “Add” button next to the input panel.

If your autoclave does not come with a scanner, you can use almost any 3rd party scanner (USB connected or wireless).
Contact Praktika staff if you need an advice on a 3rd part scanner. It must support the Code 128 barcode recognition.

Praktika scores the highest mark in the security check

Praktika has scored the highest possible mark in the security test carried out by the Qualys SSL Labs.

It has outscored many other online service provides. Some of the popular, claimed to be secure, web-services merely failed the test and scored “F”.

You can be assured your data is stored and handled in the most secure way available. In some criteria we scored higher than major Australian banks and financial services providers.

 

Praktika Dental for iPad app v 1.4.7 released

The latest version of Praktika Dental app for iPad v1.4.7 could be downloaded from AppStore

In this version we have significantly improved the performance by speeding up the patients’ files loading. The gain is approximately 50-60% less in loading time depending on the iPad model and configuration.

Yet another enjoyable and successful exhibition. We always enjoy the home shows. Simpler logistics, greatest venue and lots of people we know. We want to thank everyone of our customers who found time and came to say hello to us. We appreciate your support and the good references you give us.  We had a lot of very fruitful meetings and discussions with other exhibitors and were able to establish a few useful relationships from which, we believe, all our customers will benefit. The feedback we have received also outlines the way Praktika will develop in the future.
